Overview
WishQue, a leading Sri Lankan eCommerce platform. A significant part of my work involves developing and optimizing the Website and the Content Management System (CMS) used to search products, place orders, manage orders, payments, reports, employees, stock, and nearly all operations related to the platform.My contributions have been centered around researching and enhancing the CMS to ensure smooth functionality across various features, including inventory management, payment processing, and report generation. Additionally, I’ve worked on optimizing performance to ensure the CMS supports seamless operations, providing a reliable backend system for managing the platform’s extensive eCommerce activities. Through these efforts, I’ve helped improve operational efficiency, user experience, and the overall scalability of the platform.
My Tasks
- Contributed to the ongoing development of WishQue, a leading Sri Lankan eCommerce platform, by building and enhancing both the frontend and backend of the website and its custom CMS.
- Optimized and extended modules for order management, payments, inventory, employee tracking, and reporting.
- Designed reusable components and backend services to reduce delivery time across modules.
- Developed AI-powered assistants for report generation using natural language prompts, replacing traditional filters and query interfaces.
- Implemented a cost-efficient email marketing system using AWS SES, SNS, Lambda, and SQS, reducing third-party email service dependency and expenses.
